Dex-Flex 500 Deck Covering System is a hybrid solvent-free, fluid-applied, elastomeric waterproofing and polyacrylate traffic topping system that is ideal for waterproofing balconies, walking decks and roof decks.

Dex-Flex 500 system consists of a specially formulated moisture-cure aromatic urethane membrane basecoat applied into galvanized metal lath reinforcement, followed by multiple applications of a cementitious polyacrylate traffic topping and a durable self crosslinking acrylic or aliphatic polyurea elastomeric topcoat.

The system is turned up against building, walls, parapets, etc. to form an integral waterproof membrane.

Designed primarily as a waterproof system for surfaces, such as promenade decks, balconies, sun decks and play roofs, etc. Dex-Flex 500 is also used as a protective covering for renovating elevated concrete, including: cracked concrete, promenade decks, pool decks, etc. Dex-Flex 500 may be installed over surfaces such as new and exiting concrete, metal lath and plywood. Where to Use
Dex-Flex 500 has excellent crack-bridging and low temperature flexibility characteristics. It is designed to protect concrete surfaces from spalling and scaling associated with freeze/thaw induced damage. Dex-Flex 500 Elastomeric Decking Waterproofing is ideal for promenade decks, sun decks, patios, and rooftops.
